 From
New Orleans East on I-10:
Travel westbound until you see the Superdome ahead. Take exit 234-C,
stay to the left side of the I-10. The left fork will take
you to the Mississippi River Bridge, which is Hwy Business
90 West.
From Metairie or Kenner on I-10:
Travel Eastbound toward New Orleans. When you see the Superdome
ahead, stay to the left side of the expressway. This will be
exit 234-A. This will take you to the Mississippi River Bridge,
which is Hwy Business 90 West.
From the French Quarter:
Access the Mississippi River Bridge from Magazine St., Barrone
St., or Claiborne Ave. (Westbound). This will be Hwy Business
90 West.
From Uptown on St. Charles Ave.:
Travel towards the Frecnh Quarter on St. Charles Ave. You will
see a bridge overhead, get in the left lane and turn left at
the red light under the bridge. Go two blcoks, turn left onto
Barrone St. Go about 100 feet, turn left on the on-ramp onto
the bridge.
Once you are on the Mississippi River Bridge:
Cross the Mississippi River on US Business 90 West. Stay on the
elevated Expressway to exit 4B. Exit to ground level at 4B and
go to the 2nd red light, Barataria Blvd. (Hwy 45 South) and turn
left. Travel 2.9 miles to a red light. There will be a McDonald's
sign on the left and a Walgreen's drugstore on the right. Turn
left on Lafitte Larose Blvd. (Hwy 3134 South). Travel 5.5 miles
to a yellow caution light, go past it one block and turn right.
Don't go across the big bridge! Travel about 2 blocks alongside
the big bridge to a stop sign. Turn right on Barataria Blvd.
(Hwy 301). Travel 3.5 miles. We are the 2nd Swamp Tour on the
road. Look for the big boat dock on the left with a bunch of
blue picnic tables. You can park on the blacktop area in front
of the swamp tour or the two story house.
